An end-to-end UX design project focused on untangling a fragmented internal experience. The problem was not a lack of tools, but a lack of clarity. Employees and stakeholders were navigating disconnected systems, unclear processes, and duplicated effort. The goal was to bring everything into a single, coherent portal that actually made day-to-day work easier.

Internal employees and stakeholders were navigating fragmented systems and unclear processes. These users move through tools every day, feel inefficiencies immediately, and need clarity, consistency, and speed to get work done.

Approach

I analysed business requirements, mapped user needs, and unpacked the operational workflows behind the portal to understand where friction was coming from. This informed a task-first information architecture and clear end-to-end flows, used early to align stakeholders and validate logic before moving into detailed design.

Final wireframes and high-fidelity screens were designed in Figma, with interaction patterns and component behaviour defined for real implementation, not just visual polish.

Collaboration and handover

Flows and prototypes were used to resolve complexity early and keep decisions grounded in user impact. Final designs were handed over with annotations, interaction notes, and edge case considerations to support a clean build.

The redesigned portal created a clearer, more dependable internal experience. By consolidating services, tasks, and requests into a single interface, teams were able to move through processes with less hesitation and fewer handoffs. Stakeholders had shared clarity on structure and behaviour before build, reducing rework and ambiguity during implementation.
